The Brief
This was a challenging project involving the construction of a new 14-bedroom mental health recovery clinic with nursing support.
Herefordshire Mind is a local charity dedicated to assisting people with mental health problems.
The construction was hampered by an inherent lack of space on site. To aid with this issue, a mobile self-erecting tower crane was employed and operated remotely by the C J Bayliss operatives.
The project is also a finalist in the 2017 LABC Building Excellence awards or Best Public Service Building.
